St Helena Cup

The Manly Hotel St Helena Cup derives alot of its special interest from the fact that it is a team's race involving yachts from within the Manly Boat Harbour as well as far north as Mooloolaba and as far as Southport.  It allows clubs to have an annual contest for sailing supremacy while bringing sailors together for what would have to be the biggest sailing party in the state.

Over 100 yachts joined in the race in 2009.  A true mixed fleet will have top line ocean racers sailing against trailer sailers, cruising yachts and club racers.  Add to this the fleet from the concurrently run multihull event and you'll see just about every type of yacht imaginable out on Moreton Bay.
